formatting - LaTeX - left align a table (ie not centred) from the preamble? -

By default, latex focuses each table in the middle of the page. Is there no way in which tables to quit the coalition, provided I can only change the preamble?

to

  \ setlength \ LTleft \ parindent \ setlength \ lTright \ fill

In the preface, which means that tables are set to fl ush, but indented by normal paragraph indentation.
