java - Problem launching android AVM/SDK gui using the tools/android executable in the android SDK. Ubuntu 10.04, i686 -
Hello, I'm just running an Android SDK with Eclipse 3.5 on Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) running its i686 ThinkPad T60 I am (The eclipse was installed through a package from synaptic, i.e. repository.) I installed the add-ons on Eclipse and everything looks fine on the eclipse end I also put the Android-SDK device directory on my user path is. Now without any argument, the launch of the device / Android is to bring the SDK and AVD manager GUI, but instead I get the following error:
Exceptions in the thread "main" java.lang UnsatisfiedLinkError: Swt. Jar file at gtk-3550 or swt-gtk, swt.library.path, java.library.path, or org.eclipse.swt.internal. The strange thing is that I have certainly set everything pre-requisites for E., Sun-Java 6-JDK, and Open-Java 6-JDK and try to switch between them. Is of Also, if I look at synaptic I have libswt-gtk-3.5java installed. With this, the AVM / SDK manager has corrected it while launching it with eclipse.
(You can think of why I care, but I like working from the command line, and using EMACs instead of Elysees my IDE)
If someone knows Is that how can I fix it, please tell me.

I had the same issue at 12 months . I came to know that this was because I made the / TAP directory "NoxAk" as soon as I made it executable, we were fine.
sudo mount -o remount, exec / tmp
Hope this helps someone.
