asp classic - What is the difference between asp and asp.net? -

I am developing web applications using asp.net, but I want to work on ASP, I installed ASP Or we can write code using Asp.net, what is the main difference between these two ASPs, ASP.NET is that the legacy version of ASP Active Server Pages was created before the Net Framework.

It works on IIS and written in VBScript or Javascript.

ASP.NET is a new version built on top of the Net Workwork and it has been written in VB.NET or C #

IMO, learning your time and using ASP Should use. As a classic ASP, it is ancient in the case of Net Web Technologies and will probably not be supported for a long time (only estimating it there ..)

You may possibly want to consider seeing ASP.NET MVC There are solutions too.
