Develop remotely in XCode using iPad and VNC / RDP -

OK, this is a simple question. What are the features of the VNC / RDP app for the iPad (maybe the developer-friendly keyboard layout) that are good for using Xcode remotely? Perhaps some of you Mac developers have an iPad, and some VNC / RDP apps have tried to remotely use the Ax on their iPad. The question is, which is best to work in XCODE?

Log-ins Ignition / iTeleport / Anything, these are all exactly

What do you think?

  • Bluetooth from the physical keyboard to CMD, Ctrl, Alt combinations are not working. Although I should tell that they have available soft-keys working like you ctrl-win and tap above - all work as soft keys on a mini keyboard line and it works. I do not like an onscreen keyboard at all, but I appreciate that there is a functioning. This mini-soft keyboard line covers only a very small bottom area, so this is not a bad choice.

It is enough to tell me alone that Mocha VNC for IPC is probably not the best for remote Xcode development. Hopefully, other, more expensive VNC customers will share their experiences with.)

Actually, the inability of Mocha VNC to work with any kind of keyboard when connecting with Ubuntu pushed me to try another app: PocketCloud For free, you have the option to try all the features, at the most one connection.

Although I have seen a problem for Mac Connection and Xcode:

    • I have learned that on the IPAD the CMD / Alt / Ctrl key from the physical keyboard The limitations of the use of Apple in some way is the fault and not the manufacturing of the VNC client. There is no clear choice of command keys in Pocket Cloud, which should be placed on the toolbar below. Therefore its command keyboard is covering a huge area.
    • The ability to drag another drag is to work a lot in the encoded and other programs, but in the iPhone simulator, I rarely had to work for ScrollView, it seemed that the drag area started to move To do was not enough, especially the horizontal one.

If I have not bought mocha before, then I will go with PocketCloud. I should say that Mocha is actually quite a small car, eg After returning from the background

Unless the VNC client is capable of capturing cmd / alt / crtl from the physical keyboard, none of them will be quite subtle for me, but then better than anything!
