svn ignore not working -
I am using SVN on Mac for iPhone development, and I accidentally added build directory to source control So, I thought I could add folders to the list ignored, and find an article on how to do this.
So I run the command: svn propedit svn: ignore ./build
as specified here:
Then came in the form of Pico Editor , And I added * the first and only line of the file.
Then I want to save, but then I go into the step which is not talking about anyone, the file name of the file which I have just edited ... What is this?
I have tried ignore.txt, ignore, and others, but ever I try that the build directory (and its subdir / file) can not be added to the ignore list.
How do I do this?
You should set that property to the directory that you want the pattern, most likely: < Code>
Excerpt:
The solution is to store those unseen patterns that are unique to resources that appear in the directory provided with the directory is likely to.
Therefore, the command that follows you is:
svn propedit svn: ignore
your editor Should be opened (pointing to a temporary file) Now you can change the pattern (like, add a new row with build
on it) and then save it.
Only unblocked files can be ignored, added by the Director's repository, after which can begin to ignore:
svn rm --keep- Local build
