svn - Subversion commands to add new user and grant all permissions -

Currently, I can not commit to the SVN user. I manually tried to edit the svnserve.conf and passwd files. passwd

  • decreased the line

    • added a line, harry = harrysecret , passwd < Code> password-db = passwd in svnserve.conf
    • Added a system user, Harry , password = harrysecret As with the following: -

      UserAddressHerry passwd harry

I am using the SVN + SSH protocol and am able to checkout , But updating, while I'm getting the error is getting the error

      - Directory 'is not rejected in the path / / repository / permission DB / transaction / 1852-1.txn'

    But root user.

I googled to find the command and found the following.

sudo htpasswd -m / etc / subversion / svn-auth-file sally New password: ******* Retype new password: ******* User Adding a password to

    ()

This does not work for me.

cd ~ mkdir SSIM CMD 700 SSIS touch.
  • Edit any text editor, 'svn-access.conf', by adding the 'permission line' for 'news' for a current repository (repositories are made in webmen)
  • 'newuser' Add a password to the Svn.basic.passwd file bash $ htpasswd svn.basic.passwd with newuser (this will prompt twice for new password)

However, I have svn-ac Cess.conf is not / etc directory.

Are there certainly ways to add users with all permissions? I need to direct anyone to do this on a remote server.

  • I have never added a user to the SVN. Try CHMOD 777 for all rights.
