Any word on reified generics in Java? -

I know this question is likely to provoke more discussion than concrete replies (which I know is not that good) is. But with the recent acquisition of Oracle, I was wondering if there is a word that Java (some day) could be pure genric? I've heard that Oracle encourages Java a bit, and I can think better.

There is a good article on the revision of generic, that you should read in relation to Java, in fact it There are some types of losses that may happen with the onset of such changes. When you think about it, it is very cruel for the past compatibility, if you are wondering where it came from

be grateful that it is Java's thing

No longer will they have to slip with things like them and their identities (not that they were bad.)
