regex - Is "@" a special character in regular expressions? -
I am working on an email filter and I've got a list of regular expressions that can be used to block all email While browsing through the list of senders that match a record in that list, I've found that all events @
events \ .
Does
@
mean something special in regular expressions and so many need to avoid \ @
?
This normally is not a special character, but to avoid it There is no problem, perhaps this is the reason why many people do this, they just want to be safe (or they think this is a special character).
