Does anyone expect the JVM to ever have reified types? -
I think the challenge presented by the refined type for JVM is fine, maybe I can not understand this much "It has been repeatedly heard that there is no way to support such a concept without breaking backward compatibility. But it just thinks more about me, whether there are plans for the revised type in the future or will JVM never ever have them, as ever?
All the reasons given for the type-mirror are ridiculous. In the future, run compiled code against JDK For the old JVM does not expect any. But you are right, which is a general explanation. If you want good generics, then I suggest a different language which is actually developing.
