Cocos2d changed the name of all the classes back some time ago They now start with all cc In your example above, you should use the CCCCC director, not the director.
Take a look for more details.
The tutorial that you posted, such as the information contained in it is a little old, I think you will find installation instructions especially difficult. I suggest finding a better tutorial for posting on several Cocos 2D sites. More information about installing cocos 2D is up to date.
